Here’s a really interesting track from Minneapolis duo Common Labor. When I first heard it, I was immediately drawn to it and while it isn’t a traditional upbeat, dance-able catchy, it has an uplifting, enigmatic quality about it that I find catchy. And let’s talk about wood-blocks. I dig them. Nothing says “I’m on this fucking beat” like a wood block a la George Michael in Arrested Development.
